25/2/2021 - The submission of files for approval for the financing of companies through the COVID-19 Guarantee Fund has started

According to a Press Release of the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB), the process of submitting proposals from the banking system for the 2nd cycle of the "COVID- 19 Business Guarantee Fund" has begun.

14/1/2021 - Supporting material on Information and Communication Guidelines for co-financed projects

Beneficiaries of all the Actions of the Operational Program EPAnEK must comply with the specific Information and Communication Measures, in accordance with the European Institutional Framework, to promote European Cohesion Policy and effectiveness of funding.


13/1/2021 - Valid information on the Action of the NSRF "e-retail"

Following the heightened interest of retail businesses for the expected action of EPAnEK under the name of “e-retail” – focusing on the creation or upgrading of an e-shop, the Ministry of Development and Investments wishes to highlight the following:

a) The official information for businesses regarding funding by NSRF is provided validly and free of charge by the official website of as well as from the websites of the Operational Programmes, in this case the website of EPAnEK, and competent official bodies.


12/1/2021 - Activation of the New Investment Guarantee Fund

The Ministry of Development and Investments announced the activation of the new Investment Guarantee Fund to provide guaranteed investment loans to small and medium-sized enterprises.


8/1/2021 - Liquidity of 8.6 billion through the Greek Development Bank and EPAnEK

According to a press release of the Ministry of Development and Investments, 2.78 billion euros have been allocated through the Hellenic Development Bank (HDB) financial instruments to businesses during the health crisis and specifically through Entrepreneurship Fund II and the COVID-19 Guarantee Fund, which are largely financed by EPAnEK resources.


8/1/2021 - Extension of the consultation on the draft Operational Programme "Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2021-2027" (EPAnEK 2021-2027)

Consultation on the new Operational Programme “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation 2021-2027” (EPAnEK 2021-2027) is hereby extended until 15/01/21. 


30/12/2020 - 3.73 billion EUR have been allocated over the last 18 months from EPAnEK to Greek companies

According to a press release from the Ministry of Development and Investments, EPAnEK has covered 81.3 % of the available resources up to 29/12/2020 and three years before the completion of the Programme. The contribution of the Programme ranks Greece first among all European States in the absorption of resources from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In particular, over the last 18 months more than EUR 3.73 billion has been earmarked to address the effects of the pandemic.


29/12/2020 - Funding of 60 million EUR for Start-ups of “Elevate Greece” through Partnership Agreement 2014-2020

The Ministry of Development and Investments announced an invitation amounting to 60 million euros, for the financing of the Movement Capital, in the form of a non-refundable grant, for start-ups registered in “Elevate Greece”.


28/12/2020 - Explanatory videos on the use of the State Aid Information System

In order to support stakeholders using the State Aid Information System:, the Management Organisation Unit οf Development Programmes of the Ministry of Development and Investments produced 3 informative videos (How to tutorials) explaining its use. The first video aims to facilitate new usersΆ registration, the second shows how we submit a proposal to a support program and the third analyses common user questions and short answers from helpdesk.


28/12/2020 - Elevate Greece: The enrichment of the National Registry for Start-ups, continues

Elevate Greece (National Register of Start ups) is the platform through which interested start-ups register and are certified “officially” by the State as start-ups, provided that they meet two basic characteristics:

a) innovation.

b) the possibility of scalability.
