Grant for Self-Employed Lawyers [1/6/2021]


The Action concerns the support in the form of a grant, of self-employed lawyers affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, due to the irregular functioning of the courts.

The aim of the Action is to upgrade the digital infrastructure of law firms in order for lawyers to be able to provide their services through video conferencing, but also through the use of modern technological tools in the process of administering Justice, in courts and penitentiaries of the country.


Budget

20 million euros for all the regions of the country.

The Action is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF) of the European Union and by national resources.


Beneficiaries of the Action

Self-employed lawyers, as natural persons, registered in the Legal Association, who operate legally in the country and have already started operating until 31/12/2020.

It is pointed out that all legal entities are excluded.


Subsidy

Each beneficiary (discrete VAT) will be awarded a one-time maximum total grant from 500 euros  up to 2000 euros for the digital upgrade of their offices as follows.


Period for submission of investment projects

From 16/06/2021 (13:00) to 30/07/2021 (15:00)

Beneficiaries whose funding application, submitted by the above deadline and time is rejected, may, after the issuance of the relevant rejection decision, submit the next funding application until Thursday 30/09/2021 at 15:00. The right of re-submission ceases to exist in case this company joins the Action.


Electronic Submission

The funding application is submitted electronically through the web-based platform:  www.ependyseis.gr/mis   

Funding applications will be evaluated in order of priority, according to the date of electronic submission to the web-based platform.
