Working Capital Subsidy to Support Food Service Enterprises for Raw Material Supply [12/5/2021]

The Action aims at subsidizing SMEs and Large Enterprises in the Food Service sector, during the coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19), with working capital in order for them to be able to buy the raw materials necessary for resuming their businesses.


330 million euros for all regions of the country, which are divided into 280 million euros for Small and Medium Enterprises and 50 million euros for Large Enterprises.

This amount may be increased to cover all approved evaluated funding applications.

React EU – The project is funded as part of the Union's response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Beneficiaries of the Action

Companies of the Food Service sector, regardless of their legal form, which must be active in at least one of the following Activity Code Numbers:

  • 56.10: Restaurant and mobile catering service activities
  • 56.21: Event catering activities
  • 56.29.20: Other catering services
  • 56.30: Beverage supply services


Up to 100.000 euros

Period for submission of investment projects

From 14/05/2021 at 10:00 am to 30/07/2021 at 15:00 pm.

Beneficiaries whose funding application, submitted by the above deadline and time is rejected, may, after the issuance of the relevant rejection decision, submit the next funding application until Thursday 30/09/2021 at 15:00. The right of re-submission ceases to exist in case this company joins the Action.
