“Business Financing” - Entrepreneurship Fund ΙΙ [22/3/2019]


 

The Action, managed by HELLENIC DEVELOPMENT BANK (former ETEAN), aims to finance small and medium-sized enterprises through the provision of Investment Loans and Working Capital Loans on favorable terms.

Budget

The amount of the co-financed fund "ENTREPRENEURSHIP FUND II" increases with the last modification of the Action by 180 million euros and its total budget now amounts to 1.003.300.000 euros.

The available resources for the Action "Business Financing" increase, amounting to 989,253,800 euros, forming the total co-invested funds of HDB-Banks for all four sub-programs to approximately 2.3 billion euros (HDB: 1.003 billion euros- Banks: 1.297 billion euros).

40% of each loan is provided interest-free from TEPIX II resources, which are co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and the Greek State through the Operational Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation” (EPANEK) and Regional Operational Programs).


"Subprogram 3" Provision of Working Capital without interest, with interest rate subsidy at 100% for two years, due to pandemic COVID-19

Loan amount: Up to 50% of the company's turnover or up to 50% of current year's orders. For start-ups up to 50% of this year's orders or 80% of credit purchases. The loan can not exceed 100% of the equity.


"Subprogram 4" for the provision of interest-free working capital for two years

Subprogram 4 of the “Business Financing” Action of TEPIX II concerns co-investment loans (with a rate of 5% HDB: 95% Banks) with an interest rate subsidy for two years. Under sub-program 4, additional resources of TEPIX II amounting to 180 million euros are added, bringing the total co-invested funds of HDB - Banks for all four subprograms to approximately 2.3 billion euros (HDB: 1.003 billion euros- Banks: 1.297 billion euros).

Eligibility: “Subprogram 4” only concerns companies that have already applied for a loan under “Subprogram 3”, but none of their applications were approved due to lack of financial resources.
