The invitation is addressed to the INSTITUTE OF THE GREEK TOURISM CONFEDERATION (INSETE), as the Beneficiary, for the submission of project proposals (operations) relating to the Action “Provision of training to self-employed persons in micro and small enterprises in the tourism sector on matters related to the modernisation of services provided”, so that they be included and financed within the framework of Axes 02 and 02S“Adaptability of employees, enterprises and entrepreneurial environment to the new development requirements” of the OP“Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation”.
The scope of the action is the provision of training to self-employed persons in micro and small enterprises in the tourism sector on matters related to the modernisation of services provided, and it indicatively includes:
The objective of the action is to upgrade the knowledge, skills, flexibility and adaptability of product and services providers in the tourism sector.
The exact number of self-employed persons that will participate in the training actions to be carried out will be specified in the Submitted Proposal along with the related cost breakdown per trainee.
Gross cost cannot exceed 13 euros per man-hour of training. The cost includes the trainee allowance. To increase the effectiveness of the intervention INSETE may cooperate with:
Α. Other sectoral or collective agencies related to tourism,
Β. Other agencies of the public sector or non-profit private sector agencies which, according to their articles of association, designand/or organize and/or implement training, education and retraining actions for human resources and have the capacity to carry out such programmes using their own resources.
If that is the case, INSETE will submit in its proposal an agreement or a memorandum of cooperation with such agency(ies).
Category B cooperating agencies must have implemented or be implementing, as Beneficiaries, co-financed with own resources, training programmes in all 13 of the country's regions.
The Action constitutes de minimis state aid and the Beneficiary shall observe the EU law on state aid and see to it that it is observed. Beneficiaries of the Action are trainees, who do not pay participation fees.
