Invitations (corrected notice) - Acquisition-updating of vocational knowledge and skills and certification of vocational qualifications for self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs of micro and small enterprises (invitation code EPAnEK 01) [16/1/2015]

The invitation is addressed to social partners representing micro and medium entrepreneurship, as well as self-employedprofessionals –craftsmen for the submission of project proposals (operations) relating to the Action “Acquisition – updating of vocational knowledge and skills and certification of vocational qualifications for self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs of micro and small enterprises”, so that they can be included in the framework of Axes 02 and 02S “Adaptability of employees, enterprises and entrepreneurial environment to the new development requirements” of the OP “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation”, which is co-financed by the ESF (European Social Fund).

Potential beneficiaries of the operations must satisfy the following conditions:

  • Demonstrate and/or secure the infrastructure required for the implementation of the project of the invitation, with a view to ensuring nation-wide coverage for the intervention, or that they can be represented throughout the country,
  • Hold either a type B or C NSRF beneficiary certificate of managing competence or a certificate according to the Hellenic Organisation for Standardisation standards (ELOT). In case of association or partnership of agencies the certificate of managing competence will be required only from the partner which, according to the individual terms of the agreement signed between them, is responsible for the implementation of the training programme. In case the associations or partnerships decide to create an independent legal entity, the latter shall satisfy the requirement for managing competence,
  • Either themselves or at least one of the parties to the association must have implemented or be implementing, as beneficiaries, training programmes co-financed with own resources in all 13 of the country's regions during the programming period 2007-2013,
  • Candidates, in addition to the above required documents, may submit any other document evidencing their ability to implement the above operation.

The objective of the action is to train self-employed professionals and entrepreneurs of micro and small enterprises (with the exception of the tourism and retail sectors) and to provide them with certification in selected subjects.

Indicatively, this includes:

  • Technical vocational training in various branches of the secondary and tertiary sectors
  • Technical training arising from existing institutional frameworks
  • Training in transversal skills (e.g. entrepreneurship, product and service quality).

The objective of the vocational programmes is to provide beneficiaries with knowledge and skills that will have a direct positive impact on the productivity of human resources (main subjects of technical training) and will contribute to the adaptability of enterprises to today's development priorities.

Moreover, some trainees will take evaluation exams for the certification of skills acquired.

The action must be implemented in all the regions of the country.

Proposals are submitted in paper and in electronic form to the Special Managing Authority of the “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship & Innovation”, at 56 Mesogeion St., 115 27, Athens, 9:00-14:00 on all working days. The proposals may be submitted via registered mail, in which case the date of submission will be that of the postmark.
